VRI is committed to continuously improving our products to ensure that they meet the needs of our customers and their clients. We routinely update CareerScope Online, and these enhancements are automatically available online.
Recent enhancements include:
A new tab has been added in the Management System that houses a series of “how-to movies”. Each movie provides voiceover and animated screen captures of important management system procedures.
CareerScope Online now incorporates the most up to date information from the Department of Labor’s O*NET career information database (version 15) as well as the latest update to the SOC taxonomy.
Evaluee PDF Report Preview & Printing
CareerScope Online now offers enhanced report control and PDF formatting of reports for evaluee preview and printing. Each report page is numbered and displays the test-taker’s name, ID number and date of testing.
Manager PDF Report Preview & Printing
CareerScope Online now offers enhanced report control and PDF formatting of reports for Manager previewing and printing. Each report page is numbered and displays the test-taker’s name, ID number and date of testing. The Manager may preview and print the report as originally configured for evaluee preview/printing or can preview the report based upon the Manager’s own report configuration options.
Download PDF Reports
Managers can now select multiple evaluee records for PDF report compilation and delivery. The Manager can download compressed report files from the CareerScope Online server as originally configured for evaluee preview/printing or as configured for management system generation. Decompressed files can then be printed or stored in a preferred location.
New Management System Grid
Our new Management grid changes the way records are downloaded from the server, which will improve the speed with which you can perform the functions you need. When the Management System is first launched, it will load a subset of your evaluee records (groups of 20). As you scroll through the list (using the scroll bar on the right), additional subsets of evaluee records will be downloaded. Once an evaluee record has been downloaded, it is completely accessible. If you find the record that you need before the entire set of evaluees has been downloaded, you do not need to wait for all records to be accessible.
Enhanced Data Download and Display
CareerScope Online now provides more efficient and more user-friendly download, display and organization of evaluee data within the Management System. The new display procedure automatically presents evaluee records as a function of Last Activity Date (records with more recent assessment activity will be listed first) rather than alphabetically. Additional records (those with older assessment activity dates) will be downloaded and displayed on an “as needed basis” as you scroll downward.
To simplify the start up process for the new executive level manager, all NEW portals will have a default specialist level manager already in place. This will allow customers with new portals to immediately begin conducting assessments without first having to configure a specialist level manager. This default specialist can remain as is, or it can be edited so that it corresponds to a person in your organization. This new feature will not impact already existing portals, but will appear in any new portals that may be added to your CareerScope Online system in the future.
As requested by users of CS Online, a list of CareerScope's Green Occupational Units (as identified within O*NET) is included in the Supplementary References for Report Interpretation document.
You now have the option of branding the CareerScope Online Portal with your organization's own name and logo. Contact your sales representative to discuss pricing and logo requirements for this option.
