This innovative video training series, based on the Consumer-Directed Care Model and created under the direction of a consumer work group, is designed to enhance the consumer/personal care attendant relationship. Through this series, consumers or their guardians learn how to be effective employers and also provide essential training to their attendant employees.
The Consumer-Directed Training Series is designed for self-paced and self-directed learning and is intended for use by consumers/employers together with their attendants/employees. Each module is self-contained and can be viewed as often as needed to orient new employees or as a refresher for consumers and current employees.

Reference manual with learning objectives, discussion of each topic, assessments, and reference materials is included. Video and manual are available in English and Spanish.
